How Definite edits

English-language guides for adults in the United States. Updated October 16, 2026.

Scope

Definite publishes buying guidance: a first purchase, a comparison across five fields, a shortlist, discreet shopping, materials and care, and the reasons to wait. A guide is general information. It is not a diagnosis, a treatment plan, or a verdict on a relationship.

What the editors will and will not claim

A field stays in a guide only if a reader can check it on a public listing or a public source. We name Planned Parenthood, the CPSC, the Code of Federal Regulations, the FDA’s consumer pages, and RAINN where those pages support a sentence. We say when a sentence is editorial, including our refusal to treat “medical grade” as a material and the design check for a wider base.

We do not invent laboratory results, hands-on scores, star ratings, or quotations from testers. We do not present a clinician as the author. The byline is the Definite editors, which means the people who edit this site, not a medical board.

Corrections

Send a correction to contact details below with the page address and the sentence you dispute. A valid correction fixes a source, a broken instruction, or an overclaim. It does not ask us to pick a product for you. Pages show a date. That date is the editorial revision, not a clinical approval.

Commercial relationship

Definite and the Sexual product index are in the same publishing network. Links to sexual.ai are labeled by that relationship. This site does not show prices. If a future link is paid, the page that carries it will say so. Nothing on the current guides describes a commission.

Language

The public site is American English. There is no Spanish or French edition. Old locale links, if any remain in the wild, should resolve to this English site rather than to an empty translation.
